Charles Owusu has hailed the national campaign team of the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which includes Joshua Alabi, the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, among others.
The NDC has unveiled the list of their campaign team, comprising other leading members of the party such as Dr. Hanna Louisa Bisiw-Kotei, National Women’s Organizer; Alhaji Cole Younger, National Zongo Caucus Coordinator; Joyce Bawa Mogtari, spokesperson for the flagbearer’s campaign; Beatrice Annan, deputy spokesperson of the flagbearer’s campaign; Alex Segbefia, head of the Running Mate’s campaign; and James Agyenim Boateng, spokesperson for the Running Mate’s campaign.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Charles Owusu described this team as a "solid team" but stressed that if the party fails to win the December 7 polls, they should lay the blame on their presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
"If the NDC loses the election, it means their candidate is not good, not the party. That's why I say if you don't go to Heaven, don't blame Jesus," he said.
