Dr. Micheal Abu Sakara Forster, leader of the National Interest Movement (NIM) and member of Alan Kyerematen's Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), has called for the restoration of Ghana. He emphasized the need for sacrifices from leadership to seize the moment for national rejuvenation.

Dr. Sakara pointed out that under the current government, Ghana's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has surpassed 100, yet inflationary food prices are skyrocketing. He stated that the country has lost momentum, necessitating its restoration under the Great Transformation Plan (GTP).

He criticized the unprecedented transaction taxes and highlighted the dire state of the nation under the duopoly of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which he claimed has left the country in the doldrums.

He also expressed concerns over the bloated public wage bills, which he said are leading to despair among the youth, who are not finding opportunities.

Dr. Sakara made these remarks during the launch of the GTP, led by Mr. Kwadwo Kyerematen, the independent presidential candidate endorsed by the ARC.

The GTP aims to deliver more hospitals, roads, and other infrastructure across the country by forming a unity government to bring everybody on board come 2025 if Mr. Kyerematen is elected in the December 7 general elections.

Dr. Sakara described the GTP not as a mere promise but as a social contract, urging Ghanaians to embrace the plan for the nation's revival.
