The Kumasi Circuit Court 2 has adjourned to May 17, 2017 the case involving the eight (8) members of the vigilante group, Delta Force, a group affiliated to the New Patriotic Party.
The eight are standing trial for disturbing a court session, resisting arrest, and freeing the 13 Delta Force members who were in lawful custody.
Prosecutor, ACP Okyere Darko pleaded with the court to grant them more time when they appeared before the court on Tuesday April 18, 2017.
Lawyer for the accused persons, Gary Nimako, has argued that his clients are not guilty because they were not arrested at the scene of the crime.Her Honor, Justice Patricia Amponsah, ordered that the 8 reappear before court on the 17th of May.
