General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress has criticized NPP Flagbearer Nana Akufo – Addo’s campaign style equating it to a pastor’s sermon.
Asiedu Nketia indicated that whereas President Mahama and the NDC had released the Green Book accounting for the period in power with achievements attained, the opposition party leader was just blabbering promises without being subjected to questioning.
Speaking at the party’s final rally at the Accra Sports Stadium the NDC’s General Secretary ridiculed Nana Akufo-Addo over his failure to show up at the NCCE Presidential debate, saying it was his means of escape from accountability.
He noted that contrary to the situation in other countries where persons in opposition fight to debate the incumbent president in a bid to prove themselves, Ghana’s main opposition candidate fled the opportunity.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia commended President Mahama for being the only Presidential Candidate to have been praised by the citizenry after delivering a detailed account of his achievements.
