The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and some Ghanaians have embarked on a demonstration against the Electoral Commission, citing inconsistencies in the voter register in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
Participants, clad in red and black, as well as party colours, are expected to gather at the premises of various EC offices across the 16 regions of the country.
In Greater Accra, GhanaWeb’s George Ayisi has shared some photos of the protestors holding placards from their convergence point at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange.
Some of the placards read: ‘EC Banza!’, ‘Jean Mensah, advise yourself!!!’, and ‘No clean register, no peace!!!’
