Mr Godwin Ako Gunn has been elected as one of the Deputy Communication Directors of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He will be playing that role together with Mr Kwaku Boahen, who was also elected as Deputy Communication Director at the polls.
Mr Boahen polled 2,847 votes while Mr Ako Gunn, who was jailed together with two others for threatening Justices of the Supreme Court in the lead-up to the 2016 general elections, polled 1,816.
The two victors will be assisting the newly-elected Communication Director, Mr Sammy Gyamfi, who beat his only rival Fred Agbenyo with 4,000 votes at the polls.
Mr Boahen and Mr Ako Gunn beat the following contenders in their race:
