Aspiring National Chairman of NPP, Freddie Blay
Aspiring National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay has finally honoured his promise to purchase 275 buses for each constituency in the country.
Freddie Blay, who's currently the Acting National Chairman of the party, in his campaign message promised delegates and members of the party that he would procure 275 buses for the party.
Though some people thought it's either impossible or maybe Mr. Blay was just bluffing, he has given a strong confirmation on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' on Wednesday that to prove he's a man of his word; the buses are already at the harbour pending clearance.
He told 'kokrokoo' host Kwami Sefa Kayi that he's ready to serve the NPP and the nation, hence arranging for the procurement of the buses.
Touching on the funding for the buses, Mr. Blay revealed that "financial institution is helping us. We’re taking a bank facility to do so. It’s self-paying . . . We do so for and for every constituency. It’s not about if they vote for me first before I do it. The buses are in the country as I talk to you, Kwami. They’re in the harbour . . ”
Upon delivering on his promise, Mr. Blay is calling on the party delegates to vote massively for him to become the National Chairman.
The NPP National Conference will be held at Koforidua in the Eastern Region on Saturday, July 7, 2018.
