The Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tema East Constituency, Nene Ofoe Teye-chu Agbadiagba lV, has said that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s commissioning of Ghana’s first ever smart school block, has widened even further, the value gap between Vice President Bawumia and former president John Mahama in terms of resourcefulness.

In an exclusive interview in the Harbour City, Nene said this is the latest of many important first things that Dr. Bawumia has accomplished that former president John Mahama cannot boast any response to.

“Dr. Bawumia has simply proven once more that he is a high-value presidential material for Ghana compared to former president John Dramani Mahama because, like many things he has done in the past, this is also a revolutionary accomplishment,” Nene Agbadiagba said.

He says, “The first smart school also puts Dr. Bawumia firmly in the annals of Ghanaian history as an innovative thinker, unlike John Mahama who cannot boast of any worthwhile innovative thing.”

Ghana’s first smart school was commissioned by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia at the Opoku Ware Senior High School in Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti Region, last week.

The commissioning was done during a stop-over as part of the Vice President’s campaign tour of the region.

The smart school concept is based on a policy to model Ghanaian schools into world-class, ultramodern and heavily technologized schools that comprehensively cater for both practical and theoretical education of students.

The concept is part of a general policy of digitalization which Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has been championing across the country.

“This first-ever smart school is yet another low-hanging fruit from the resourcefulness that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is bringing to the leadership of the country. As you may already know, he has started the training centre for “Kayayei” in Accra, and he has commissioned the digital repository facility at Wesley Girls Senior High School and the multi-purpose technology hub.

In the coming days and years we are going to be seeing more of this high-value man who has dwarfed John Mahama completely, in fact, Dr. Bawumia is a serious thinker and too brilliant,“ Nene Ofoe Teye-chu Agbadiagba IV said.
