  Asante Akyem is noted to be an area in Ghana, where over 80% are illiterates and stupid. Just because an intelligent and courageous man like Appiah Kubi was able to stand against the corrupt Finance Minister, these foolish people in Asante Akyem have been cajoled to work against him and choose a stupid man. No wonder, the honourable Appiah Kubi never went for snail gathering in his youth so he is not liked.
