But the reason why he hasn't chosen a running mate yet is because he believes that his preferred choice/choices of a running mate would be much more valuable than himself even as the president (God forbid)! And these (preferred) choices are Alan and Ken. Bawumliar's camp pretends that Alan is not a threat to his chances but deep down they know that if they are not able to persuade Alan to abandon his movement and them, then his chances are ZERO - knowing that Alan would take a huge chunk of votes in the Ashanti region, which is Bawumliar's only hope. And then there's Ken and his so-called secrets. In fact Bawumliar would have loved to name two running mates (Alan and Ken) if he could convince them to join him and the constitution allowed it.

Let's look what Barrack Obama did in the USA by picking Joe Biden as his running mate.
Joe Biden is more exposed and experienced in politics than Obama thus very instrumental in holding the fort.
I can say Napo is more exposed and experienced than Bawumia in NPP,he can pull votes from the Ashanti and Eastern regions.
