Contrary to adhering to Progressively Free SHS, as they are wisely done for all new and unfamiliar projects and programmes, Akufo Addo decided to roll out this untested Universal Free SHS, thereby vindicating NDC and their adverts thereof. All these avoidable difficulties could have been averted easily. They would have been addressed systematically along the implementation journey. Similarly, various stakeholders could have, along the line, have ample opportunity to identify and submit their constructive criticism, feedback, and inputs that would have adequately strengthened successful implementation. But for political expediency our children have to suffer someone's miscalculated decision for decades

This claim came too late though, because throughout the length and breadth of the land, it is an uncontestable fact that the government of Nana Addo started Free SHS. Progressive free SHS is not the same as the non-discriminating Free SHS of the Akufo Addo government. Those who say that Mahama started Free SHS conveniently forget Mahama's statements: that if he had 2 billion USD he wouldn't invest it in free SHS education: that it would take 20 years to implement Free SHS? And what about the 50 adverts that Mahama took against Free SHS? And what about Mahama's claim that Free SHS was a hoax, a 419? Do these people believe that all Ghanaians have short memories? These NDC propagandists should take a trip to any SHS and randomly ask students the government that initiated Free SHS, and they will discover to their shock, that Mahama's name is the last on the minds and lips of these students.
