So please let us focus on other areas that get us out of the economic quagmire

Ghanaians don't lack prayer and thanksgiving oo JDM, what Ghanaians lack and are expectant to see in the near future is stable economy. Ghanaians are yearning for better living conditions but not what you are promising. What are we thanking God for ? God has given us all that we need to live better, to become a prosperous nation and look at the situation we find ourselves now. If some countries have only one natural resource, oil, and they have been able to overcome poverty and their nations are prosperous, and we are living in a country where only peanuts are living better lives, do you call for national day of prayer and thanksgiving ? If we all will stop the corrupt practices and do the right thing and help alleviate hardships on the people, that will be more than the national day of prayer and thanksgiving. How can we be a nation with hardened hearts and evil minds set a day aside for prayer and thanksgiving but not day of repentance ? If we repent from all the nonsense, the transformation will follow naturally and then our prayer and thanksgiving will be acceptable to God.
