The NPP parliamentarians ran away from parliament because of their shame of becoming the minority MP's in Parliament, and so Babgin stated that, though the NDC got majority but they don't form a quorum to make decisions and so he adjourned the sitting indefinitely, he didn't give damn shit to the SC ruling, and hence he did not make mentioned it, and he knows what he is doing, and no one can issue contempt of court to him, he has been there in the beginning of the 4th Republic, even those judges became high court judges and being promoted to SC judges

Bagbin has also effectively issued an order for a stay of all parliamentary proceedings sine die. So we are waiting for Supreme Court to come out with its interpretation that Afenyo-Markin Markins put before them, which we know they can’t. This is pure chess.

Bagbin is no hero. Rather he chickened out because he did not have the courage to defy the ruling of the Supreme Court. He took the easy way out of a difficult situation. He acknowledged receiving the ruling of the highest court in the land. If he was as courageous as his party the NDC, expected him to be, he would have, before adjoining Parliament declared, besides the reasons he gave, that the Supreme Court ruling was not binding on him or Parliament, and therefore his ruling stands. Having failed to do that the ruling of the Supreme Court nullified his ruling. He took a decision to deflate an inflammatory situation of his making, by his erroneous interpretation of Article 97 of the Constitution.

Bagbin is just a coward and incapable of standing on principle. The constitution reigns supreme. Why could he not go ahead with proceedings in parliament today? He was scared of the charge of contempt by the highest court in the land so to deny victory for the NPP, he adjourned parliament indefinitely. When the substantive matter is judged in favour of the constituents, who would otherwise be denied representation in parliament what then would be their next move. One of the subjects for review in our constitution should be to make it possible for government to continue to function, if for whatever reason, parliament is suspended beyond a specified number of days.

This is no prophesy.
Other parties like CPP, PNC, etc. should take advantage of the situation to improve their public image and electoral performance.
