  It's difficult to understand why the NDC wants the president's nominees to be approved by consensus by all means. What damage will they suffer as a party if the nominees are approved by majority decisions? With such a massive majority, it's puzzling why the NDC has allowed themselves to be bullied by the NPP micro minority just because they are looking for consensus decisions. Look at how the micro minority leader has the guts to ask the president's nominee for the health ministry over one hundred questions – what good is that meant to achieve? The NDC must quickly come to terms with the fact that, NPP officials, whether in parliament or outside, are not their friends but avowed opponents whose wish for them is that they fail. Thus they should be well aware that NPP will have no praises for them but criticisms only. The right attitude for the NDC towards NPP should therefore be combative and not bowing down before NPP in order to attain consensus as if that is what will make them succeed.
