His major challenge will be how to dissociate himself from the NADAA government and the damage to the economy inflicted. DDEP, high borrowing, inflation, exchange rates are a few, and what Dr Bawumia preached about those indicators prior to the 2016 elections that resonated with the middle class. If he goes campaigning on a different meaning of those indicators, he will be labelled as dishonest and undeserving of the presidency. Yes, he has good ideas for the country but his image is damaged by the previous government. At least NPP should give Dr Bawumia one more chance.

NDC will present a fresh candidate, so I think Bawumiah stands a chance.

Bawumiah was not my choice in 2024 but I will consider in 2028 by God's grace.

So with the way the economy was being run into the abyss who at all could have performed the magic for the NPP.All the signs were on the wall but when majority of the media is corrupted from saying the truth to the public we should never be surprised that some of their supporters are still attributing their loss with these flimsy excuses of choice of flag bearer.This mindset shows they will be in opposition for a long time.
