You protested against E-Levy which was not a tax on every Ghanaian but this D-Levy, is a tax on every Ghanaian so, what is your stupid point?

Citizens will complain less about taxes if we see and feel the benefits. We were told e-levy would solve myriads of problems, but that never happened. That's why everyone was against it. We were paying e-levy and fuel was selling at GHC17 per litter.
Currently, fuel is selling at GHC12 per litre and fuel levy of GHC1 is already embedded in it.
Let's be honest to ourselves; we are better off now. If after a month or two, we don't feel the benefits of this levy th6we can complain and agitate for it's removal. The Independent Power Producers who threatened to cut off power supply because government owes them, claim the tax is a good idea. Let's wait to see if they won't complain of indebtedness again, then we can conclude if the levy is being used properly or not.
