Do you know that Nkrumah was not a PhD Holder? For many who do not know, Nkrumah was in his PhD Program but never completed his Thesis. We called him Dr. Nkrumah but he didn’t complete the Program. Those who disagree should show us or direct us to find where his PhD Thesis are. It is just like now we have so many people in Ghana, especially in the Political arena claiming to be Doctorate Degree Holders but cannot prove it. I don’t include those like Akuffo Addo and Konadu Agyemang Rawlings who were given honorary ones, just like the Asantehene. Anyway, a Doctorate Degree doesn’t make someone a distinguished and an accomplished Politician. It is only in Ghana that some people, especially Politicians use that qualification to glorify themselves. Obama has PhD in law but never called himself, and was never called at occasions as Obama(PhD).
