  It's not really the economic crises,but the actions of the government that made it clear to any person with common sense that covid and russia ukraine war were not the major causes of ghana's unprecedented economic crise;Unprecendented debts with little to show for compared to the previous government they criticised,Junk status cedit rating:one of the worst globally,worst performing currency in the world 2022,highest food price in africa according to bbc,one of highest inflation rate in the world,bank of ghana unprecendeted losses and printing money without parliament approvale,Akufo Addo renting ultra luxurious private jet in crises,millions spent on a cathedral with little to justify that amount,ddep,elevy despite massive resistance etc. etc.

As for the Economic future I hope they encompass high borrowing unsustainable debt level, bankruptcy of Ghana, DDEP, Pension funds seized, high inflation, rapidly increasing exchange rates and high cost of living.
  I am glad "our voters didn't turn out to vote" did not feature much more the NPP strategies of vote rigging that was checkmated.

  It amazes me how these bloody over entitled morons think. Apart from economic mismanagement(the euphemism for economic challenges), the rest are NEVER causal factors. There was unprecedented and untamed looting of state resources in Ghana. The party's appetite for prime state lands is beyond description. The tone set at the top opened the flood gates for everyone to loot with reckless abandon. From NSS to Scholarship secretariat, everyone was looting as if the world was ending tomorrow. And whiles they maltreated us, they were living big and large like Arabian imperial Kings.

  Another is the DDEP, where the then Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta assumed himself to be the most knowledgeable person in Ghana ignored all good counseling from the populace.
  Also, the almighty E-levy. How the then Finance Minister embarrassed the lady PhD student from Columbia University during the KPMG sponsored meet the people workshop.
  The appetite for introducing more taxes on the already impoverished people reeling under severe economic hardships after the pandemic. OforiAtta's popular refrain was there was money in Ghana and that the public must contribute more to the government through taxes.
  Excessive borrowings that bankrupted the economy.
  Depreciation of the local currency, GHs, which caused hyper-inflation in the economy coupled with the Governor of Bank of Ghana's clueless management of the monetary policies in the country.
  Nana Addo's over-reliance on Ken Ofori-Atta to the extent that, over 100 NPP MPs who represented the constituencies call for him to be removed because hear was driving the country into a ditch was ignored.
  The party, NPP,'s neglect of the party faithfuls who spent their fortunes to help the party return to power. Remember, there were three general elections before the party won.
  Finally, arrogance of party leaders, including Prof Oquaye himself, Mac Manu and others were all major factors for the defeat.
  Dont do any coverups if the party really wants to get it's members back.

Just image the former minister for education, who brought down his brother in-law from USA to hep him create and share kick backs in the infrastructure development in his ministry during the four years as the substantive minister. His brother in- law bought a house worth over $2 million at east Legon and built a number of stores selling building materials and importing cares and other wares to Ghana within the four years that Dr. Adutwum was a minister. Think about how much money he and his cronies have stolen during the four years as. Now he wants to lead NPP as presidential candidate. We will expose all of you. I’m disappointed in NPP leadership. They are all corrupt from top to bottom. Was president Akuffo Addo aware of all these?
