This is not the democracy we want in Ghana, whereby the people who voted to bring the government into office can not criticise the government when they see something wrong. That’s dictatorship and not democracy they should allow freedom of speech. Their predecessors were also criticised and they take it in good faith because they understood the people brought them into office so they have every right to criticise them. What is not good is the insult involved because I will never be happy if someone insults my father or any of my family members I don’t support insults in any form or shape is not part of our Ghanaian culture. This unnecessary arrest and intimidation on ordinary civilians should stop. We don’t need heavy armed men to arrest just one person by breaking into their homes. You can invite them peacefully and they will come no problem about that and it’s should be both sides and not just parties in opposition with difficult bail conditions that’s not right for a citizen of Ghana.
