We elected the government to go after corrupt officials and many of us even think the accountability is too slow. The accountability will continue. He is showing sympathy to the looters from NPP who are to be prosecuted. He is making it seem like the NDC law enforcement agencies are just arresting some of the NPP members without any reason. That is so stupid of him to say this. The Mahama government’s agenda to reset the national will go after all the looters and he Mensah should be thankful that he has not been accused of looting yet .

People like Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu must applaud the government for taking action against those responsible for the mess. Wrong is wrong, let’s not pretend that this state security agencies are doing something to please the government of the day. Even if that’s what it is, the law courts will determine the charges to be worthy or not.
Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu should be advising the political class to be wary of how they handle the public purse. He’s an astute politician and must not be seen to be doing mere partisan politics.

People in high places and those with enormous wealth should never be exempt from arrests and prosecution when there is sufficient evidence to determine that they've broken the laws of Ghana. Where were you when Akufo-Addo was foolishly defending Wontumi after the authorities seized Wontumi's mining equipment for mining illegally in a forest preserve? Should you not have complained then about President Akufo-Addo using his position to undermine the rule of law by defending the illegal actions of Wontumi? The NPP brass were well aware of Wontumi's illegal mining activities, but only admonished him to stop publicly bragging about his gold mining exploits instead of letting him know that he was breaking the law with his illegal mining activities. It's about time the system of justice went after any person deemed to have broken the law, regardless of their standing in society.
