We all praising Mahama but I will wait until the end of 2026 to give my verdict. By then Mahama would have done half of his tenure in office. I still feel we are moving at a very slow pace when compared to the pace of development in countries like Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Senegal and Kenya. So far, I have not seen any initiative taken to change our mindset and attitude to work and how we relate to each other. Our health sector is still nothing to write home about and the agricultural sector is still dominated by peasant farmers (no large scale mechanization initiatives). One whole year has elapsed and not a single person was prosecuted under ORAL. I think we still have a lot of work to do.

I wonder if we will ever see the so called reset agenda come into reality. Bringing down inflation and embarking on road constructions are necessary but not sufficient. As you rightly pointed out "ORAL is dysfunctional and toothless". Unfortunately, Ghanaians are politically immature and will not hold his party accountable if he fails to deliver on his promises. Sometimes it is easy to lead a country with lots of illiterates.
