  I'm still not sure, but your explanation is still quite weak, Mr. Azar, although I definitely agree with you that the President cannot stand on a future ticket as a Vice President after 2 terms. My problem is that the finality or perceptive finality thereof of your argument, with supporting constitutional citations, presupposes that the Vice-President therefore cannot or should not be allowed to stand for election as a president either. But that is clearly not the case. I was thinking more of the fact that haven served on the highest position of the land, he cannot be expressly employed by the state as a civil servant of the land. Pure, plain, simple!

  The vice was not voted for directly, we typically do not give much thought to the vice president during our presidential elections.

  The problem is that vice presidents don't have power. I see the position as a ceremonial one. Depending on who the president is, the vice may not have the opportunity to implement his/her vision for the country, so equating their two terms to president for one term will not be fair to them.
