That a huge and old Party like the NDC has not sorted this kind of nonsense at this late stage of our development, shows how incompetent the leadership of that Party is. This is the kind of foolishness that one would expect from the likes of the NPP. Why, have constituencies become the legacies of sitting MPs to the effect that their families will inherit their seats in Parliament? This is stone age mentality and it must not be encouraged.

As for voters in the Ayawado East constituency, the responsibility lies with them to either choose a competent candidate or the wife of their deceased parliamentarian on the basis of what seems to be
mere sympathy. If we don't stop this foolishness, what we will begin to see in the future is that, after a wife or a husband has inherited the seat, the next thing you will see is that their children and grandchildren will also be lining up to take their turn.

Let's be serious with our politics and conduct our affairs in a manner that will get this country back on the road to development.

It’s a fact that the Kwahu people are so proud of where they come from that they have developed their hometowns and made them the envy of the rest of Ghana.
And that is more than can be said for the people from the north. After enjoying free shs for ever, they just stay in Accra and leave their people to compete with cows, goats and pigs for drinking water from polluted rivers.
