I do not know how old Baba Jamal is but, he looks young enough to lend his efforts in the domain of active politics. I also do not know how ideologically correct he is but if he is of the true original NDC political material, then I should think that he should be allowed to contest for the parliamentary seat to beef up the weak political (ideological) strength of the NDC majority in Parliament. Even though the NDC has an overwhelming numerical majority in Parliament, their overall political substance and orientation is neither here nor there. As we speak, I can bet my bottom dollar that most NDC MPs are bereft of any kind of political orientation or agenda that distinguishes them from the Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party.

As the only currently available political party that can lead this country into the future, the NDC Party structures must be revamped to ensure that the right quality of cadres are nurtured across the board to assume leadership positions in all sectors of governance. If these measures are not taken, mark my words, both the NDC Party and govt will inevitably relapse into NPP mode and the country will be worse off for it.

They are achieving this stated objective by the appointment of an Accra elite, who knows nothing about cocoa. To display he is an Accra eleit, he visited cocoa with his sfot chair in cross country vehicle.

Oh, how happy I am that all of my family's cocoa farmers are gone. None of my family members nor descendants will ever have to go to the farms at dawn to carry cocoa before they go to school only for the Accra elites to reap the benefits of our labour.

Why is cocoa clinic built in Accra and not the cocoa producing areas? Are you seeing what we are seeing? Why is cocoa processing built in Accra? Cocoa farmers pay the highest tax in Ghana but do not have pension but the Accra elites get the highest pay and pension in the cocoa industry. Cocoa farmers and their children too need high paid jobs and pensions.

And to those in gold producing areas, don't allow the Accra elites destroy your lad through gala but build gold processing plants in Accra / Tema for the Accra elites. Are you seeing what we are seeing?

Baba Jamal will go back to his second choice ambassador role if he losses the by-election. That shows he doesn't regard the president's appointment as a priority for the country. It means the president can shove his second rate inferior appointment as he, Baba Jamal, is focused on a more important role as MP.

This is an insult to the appointing authority, that, he doesn't like the ambassador role but is only there temporarily, and will gladly abandon the job if he had a choice. Basically he's not committed, loyal and dedicated to the role of ambassador.

The least the president can do to dedicated, committed and loyal NDC members, is to sack Baba Jamal, and appoint someone who is serious and focused, and who will appreciate the President's appointment and serve Ghanaians wholeheartedly,.

The man, Baba Jamal, is not ready to work for the president but himself, so why is the president still keeping him?

The president must be bold and appoint a dedicated ambassador to replace the ungrateful Baba Jamal, who is obviously not happy with his current job, and is disgracing the president as a weak, lame and impotent leader who only offers second rate inferior appointments.
