  Since when did we get Hausas and Ayigbes being owners of Nima? I know during Busia's regime a substantial part that slum was bought by the state and compensation duly paid to the Ga Chiefs. The settlers were also given some packages in the form of land at Madina. Nima as it's is for the state which shd be demolished for a modern estate.Future Govt shd make it as priority remove those residents.

  Nima has no Landowners. Nima was acquired and paid for by the Nkrumah- government. The people of Nima were to be resettled at Madina, so Nima could be developed into an estate like Kanda in or Tema, but unfortunately, Nkrumah- was over thrown and the project died. The people didn't move. So those who moved to resettle at Madina are now the Landlords at Madina.
