'No man in Ghana can claim I was his ex-girlfriend' – MP Comfort Cudjoe-Ghansah

Member of Parliament for the Ada Constituency, Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, has shared a brief history of her romantic life, which has triggered massive reactions on social media.

In a post shared on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb on March 11, 2026, Cudjoe-Ghansah noted that she got married at a very young age.

Recounting her experience, the Member of Parliament stated that she gave birth to her first child at the age of 19.

“I got married at a very young age. I gave birth to my first child at the age of 19. It wasn’t a teenage pregnancy, and I didn’t date before getting married,” she said.

Cudjoe-Ghansah further noted that no man in Ghana can point a finger at her and claim that they were once in a romantic relationship before her marriage.

“No man in Ghana can point a finger at me and say I was his former girlfriend. I don’t have anything like that. The worst anyone can say is that I was a former wife.

“The first person who married me was the first person to break my virginity, so I don’t have anything like a former boyfriend,” she added.
