We can disagree with Mahama who is very respectful and diplomatic. I have known him from Tamale where he attended Tamale Secondary School. And I think the wife also sometime attended Ghana Secondary School at Tamale.
I have no issues with Mahama but with Efo Julor John Rawlings and his Anlo Ewe cohorts who caused mayhem in the AFRC and early NDC days. Let us respectfully respect and disagree with Mahama and encourage him to continue to behave honorably and behave like the Gentleman that he is, and has been. Can someone ask Mahama when we are going to have the next Baby naming ceremony for his new child or he has stopped manufacturing any more babies. In the previous 30 years, a total of 90 mining licenses had been issued. Get your head round that statistic. NPP had 8 years to put things right but instead poured gallons and gallons of petrol on the galamsey fire. Everyone with party connections, friends and family went ‘into mining’ and the result is the total unmitigated disaster we are witnessing today.

We all saw the hide and seek games with excavators seized and then mysteriously reappearing at another galamsey site, people arrested and then mysteriously released. Wontumi etc etc. It is very disappointing that some in the current NDC administration are also involved, but galamsey is now like a cancer out of control. Ghanaians involved in galamsey are digging the grave of the nation with their eyes wide open. We urgently need to change course before it is too late.
