The current state of the NDC Party is like a runaway horse that having bolted from its stable, cannot find its way back.

To start with, the fake ideological tag of social democracy that the NDC pretends to be, was never in essence true. What in any case is social democracy? It is but a convenient illusion of immature politicians who cannot figure out where exactly they stand in the political arena.

The NDC lost the opportunity to become a true nationalist progressive party to counteract the inherent mischief of the neocolonial UP/NPP cabal in the Ghanaian political domain because the leader of the pseudo revolution, did not know his left from his right and assumed that he was the personal owner of the so-called revolution that inevitably, would disgracefully fail in due course.

The true and mature cadres in the NDC should reconvene and undertake an introspective analysis of its existence - especially in regard to the recent passing and absence of its "founder", redefine its ideological orientation and purpose, and then chart a new nationalistic way forward. If not, the overwhelming numbers of opportunists and scroungers who have assumed critical positions at all levels of their Party, will very shortly cause the NDC to degenerate to the abysmal level of brigandage and thievery that the putrefied NPP has fallen to and very likely, never to rise again.

In the same way that some democratically elected leaders and govts like the last NPP govt failed to perform in a most despicable way, so also, some military coups and civil uprisings that dislodge hopelessly incompetent and corrupt frontmen of colonial domination, tyranny and exploitation, also perform way better, more intelligently and more democratically - in terms of the equitable distribution of resources, than some civilian govts.

We live in a world where even the much-touted apex countries of Western democratic norms, are today the ones who are openly bribing organizations and civil society groups in countries whose govts they disagree with, to forcibly overthrow their democratically elected govts.

The former world system of sacrosanct sovereignty and respect for the UN, seems to have crumbled and so, we had better open our eyes wide and see how best we can survive in the ensuing confusion.
