Titus Glover and Martin Kpebu clash during heated live interview on radio
A live interview on Citi FM on June 9, 2026, took a tense turn when former Greater Accra Regional Minister Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover and private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu clashed on air.
The disagreement started after the host asked both men to exchange greetings at the beginning of the programme. What began as a routine segment shifted into confrontation when Kpebu brought up an earlier remark he attributed to Titus Glover, where he was described as a “struggling lawyer.”
“We were once on TV, and Titus called me a struggling lawyer. He had the effrontery to call me that. Now you have seen your real size. Next time, when you have power, you should not insult citizens like that,” Kpebu said.

He went further to question Titus Glover’s political future, especially reports that he may be eyeing the National Organiser position in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I don’t think he should come back to lead us. I think we have other Ghanaians who will behave better. So the NDC will win the election, and by the time the NPP comes back, Titus will be too old. Then he would have learned his lesson,” he stated.
Kpebu also sharpened his criticism, adding: “I pray he loses. Titus should not go anywhere near public office. It is as if the NPP has no talent.”
The former minister, clearly upset by the comments, pushed back strongly and accused Kpebu of frequently attacking political figures.
“You were insulting Akufo-Addo. When I hit your adrenaline, you were not happy, and you think Akufo-Addo is happy with what you are doing?” Glover fired back.
He added: “I can’t let this man run me down anyhow. He is totally wrong with what he is doing. It is as if any chance he gets, he wants to run people down. If I deal with him right now, people will say that is not how we do it. You have not changed from this conduct. You decide to attack anybody anyhow?”
The exchange briefly unsettled the programme, with both men holding firm to their opposing views throughout the discussion.
