Chairman Wontomi sentence is too HARSH. It looks like a WHITE MAN AND WOMAN being WICKED to a BLACK MAN OR WOMAN. You see the way WHITE South Africans treated BLACK South Africans and in general our ancestors used as SLAVES by the WHITE man and woman. This is politically motivated sentence as well as HATRED towards my Ashanti Brother Wontomi. I do NOT like Wontomi because he is a very selfish person who has betrayed us Ashantis to the Tiny population Akyem Abuakwa CRIMINALS Akuffo Addo and Ken Ofori Atta and Bawumia and Gabby Octhere Darko. Akuffo Addo hates us ASHANTIS and Wontomi let Akuffo Addo took advantage of us Ashantis VOTERS free of charge without Akuffo Addo doing anything for us Ashantis. Chairman Wontomi had a valid mining licence and the mistake he made was not to seek Ministerial amendment to his valid mining licence before giving it to someone. That was an administrative error and he should have been given a FINE. This is disproportionate and over the top politically motivated sentence and hatred. I believe in fairness. NPP should appeal immediately. I hate injustice and unfairness

When a party member is found guilty and sent to prison instead of the party immediately dismissing him and enforcing party discipline against him they rather send a high profile delegation to visit him in prison to show support and solidarity.
Are we crazy? Are we serious about fighting these practices that are costing the nation so much? I mean I can't even believe it!! Are all these politicians just stupid, immature, corrupt? This convicted party member a former Regional Chairman does not even have the decency to resign or to leave the party for bringing the party into disrepute. He is rather entertaining the Presidential candidate of his party in his prison cell. Nuts, if you ask me.
This party who are in opposition what is their stand in fighting galamsey and/or corruption? This jailbird still has multiple charges to face in court which God willing should result in further sentences should he be found guilty.
Canada banned Partey from entering the country though he has not been found guilty. Like it or not it shows a country who don't play when someone is facing the charges Partey is facing. It sends out a strong message of the country's position to such crime even though Partey is yet to be found guilty.
Contrast that to this Wontumi, a nefarious character long associated with galamsey and other illigalities. A villian who openly brags and displays nuggets of gold publicly and when he is finally convicted his party actually send a high profile delegation including the presidential candidate to "visit" him.

Visiting the man who colluded with foreign changfan operators to poison and strip our land bare, and condemn ordinary Ghanaians to kidney failure and expensive 3x weekly dialysis before premature death. The man who played a big role in poisoning unborn babies with mercury and other heavy metals. All this leading to births with life limiting deformities.
