Life is that you may not like a person, but when some events that you see that are mere manifestations of some people don't like that person you stand behind him to support him because you are of the view that he is not being treated fairly.
I have adopted the habit of avoiding my relatives when they are in position, because in the event of you having some disputes with people and you take the official position to win your case people will accuse them of using their position to assist you.
One family I avoided was the Tsikatas, because my intelligence information was that Captain Kojo Tsikata went awol to fight in the Congo.
He was also in Angola. That was during the PNDC era. We had earlier meet in 1985 and it was about the misbehaviour of someone I learnt was his friend's behaviour towards me.
There has been incidents of my relatives Anlos not liking me at my first acquittance with them.
I am a person who don't want to sound tribalistic, so when I meet my relatives in official circles I speak English to them, even if the issue is personal.
I don't support people because they are my relatives.
But when our nephew, I mean Captain Kojo Tsikata and myself's nephew Tsatsu Tsikata was arrested on false charges I was the first to come on the web to defend him.
So was the matter about my other nephew John Mahama's matter with the ruse of Airbus, created by the US to let him lost the 2016 elections.
I am proud that some Ghanaians who were in the NPP lynching mob have gained their mind and now support John Mahama.
