In every great political journey there comes a moment that tests the loyalty, courage and vision of those who stand at the frontline. For the campaign of H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, that moment came during the difficult season of the presidential primaries. In that season, one man stood tall. Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye, Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore and Middle Belt Campaign Coordinator.
While others hesitated, Dr. Ayew Afriye acted. When the Ashanti Region, the beating heart of our great Party, faced the danger of divided loyalties, he did not sit on the fence or wait for the storm to pass. He went to work. In a strategic engagement with constituency chairmen across the Ashanti Region, he made a clear and principled call: the Party’s strength lies in unity, and unity lies in rallying behind one candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
His message to the chairmen was simple and powerful. Divided attention breeds division, and division breeds defeat. Ashanti could not afford to send mixed signals at a time when the Party needed a clear direction. He urged the constituency chairmen to speak with one voice and move as one body behind the candidate best placed to lead the Party back to power.

Akuffo Addo as President put his family above Ghana National Interest. Why didn't Ghanaians demonstrate to ask the President to resign for the ABUSE OF POWER? NPP AKYEM Abuakwa CRIMINALS Akuffo Addo and Ken Ofori Atta and Bawumia borrowed over 51 Billion US dollars and looted and looted them all for our grand children to pay for their treasonous stealing of the Ghana borrowed money. So no matter what the opposition will influence people to write nothing will bring them back to power soon. They got power for 8 years amass wealth for themselves and mess up the country's economy sending majority of Ghanaians into poverty, they just left power only 1 year and close to 10 months and they are crying for power again. Ken Ofori Atta the immediate finance minister is on the run with huge tax payers money, avoiding accountability.
