CPP has always pointed out that the facility was built from members contributions and fees but NDC being anti-Nkrumahist would not do the right thing. Now we hear Kofi Adams' explanation for the new $20 million dollar headquarters:
"He therefore debunked claims that the NDC was using State funds, adding that the ruling party raises funds from party members to support such projects."

Fine, give us back our property now or we sue for accumulated value plus cost of depreciation over 47 years! CPP Legal team, please take notice!

Yesterday I and a friend happened to be driving around the Adabraka area where this supposed building is located.

Suddenly on our right and left sides of the road were parked countless numbers of Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles. At first my friend remarked that Ei! people have money in this country oh!

But as we continued driving on along that road, the numbers of Land Cruisers and other similar vehicles increased and we also got increasingly worried as to how and why there were so many of such vehicles parked around there at the same time.

For the lack of any available explanation, I even jokingly remarked that perhaps it was an association of Land Cruiser vehicles having their Annual General Meeting. My pal also chipped in that perhaps the association of Ghana business moguls were having a meeting around there somewhere.

It is only upon reading this article that it has come to dawn on me that so that is what all those huge gleaming luxurious cars parked there at Adabraka was about. I am yet to call my colleague to inform him about this.

Never mind the 20 million Ghana Cedis NDC office itself. I am extremely angry at the wanton, devil-may-care flaunting of obviously ill-gotten vulgar wealth in the face of the increasingly impoverished Ghanaians.

So this is where all the lack of water, electricity, gas, petrol, crumbling health system, deteriorating sports competition, bad roads, falling value of the Cedi and the lack of security and increasing crime rate went to.

It will be butu-butu. Mark my word. This country will see something that we have never seen before.

One day the truth will come out. Where did NDC get the money to build the office? First they denied ownership of the building when the news broke out now the cat is out of the bag. NPP ruled for eight years and never thought of constructing a national headquarters because they had no intention of stealing from the citizens, but NDC who do not see the misery they have put Ghanaians in had stolen to build an office for themselves. There will be a time that the building will be confiscated to the state because there is no way that NDC can come up with $20 million to build an office in a matter of less than 4 years. Now there is no light, no water, the cedi is galloping, Accra has turned into an ocean, corruption is a household word, the economy is in a mess, the roads are pot-holed filled, workers are not being paid (especially doctors and nurses), everything seem to be falling apart yet Mahama does not seem to care. Oh Ghana. Mother Ghana is crying. God help us.
