Why would people be bused all the way from Upper East to Kumasi to register? What sense does that make? What happens to their votes in UER? How many people can one buse to effect even a change in parliamentary vote, let alone a Presidential? NPP was alleged to have moved people from Ashanti region to nearby constituencies in Brong Ahafo to vote for their parliamentary candidates there in 2008. NDC was also alleged to have moved some people from Volta region to some nearby Eastern Region areas for the same purpose. It is assumed these people can easily vote in the first place annd rush to the second place. How did that affect the elctions? No one has done any research on this. All that is speculations and conjecture. But all the way from Wa and Bawku to Kumasi. This is far fetched and Wontumi is clutching at air. This is why Gen Mosquito said such persons should be sent for psychiatric examination, or their accusers themselves. Wontumi like Sir John before him and Dr Pink sheets himself are still novices in electoral laws of Ghana. Generating heat everywhere without any light. The NPP can still not fathom out the reason for their two successive defeats and Wontumi is at a loss and and starting on the wrong note.

Infact people found wearing northern dresses were prevented from registering for elections in Ghana during their rule. This ethnocentrism is in their blood. Northerners count for nothing. Rounding them up in Kumasi as Wontumi did is a gross violation of the fudamental human rights and the freedom of movement of these people as enshrined in the constitution of Ghana. There are laid down procedures for challenging those suspected of electoral offences. Wontumi has clearly breached them.
