It is sad that Afoko ignored our advice to be careful of the party he was forcing himself onto. We warned him that Ashantis/Akyems don't respect northerners and that they would only use him and dump him.

Afoko and Aliu Mahama single-handedly made NPP to gain roots in the north where even GCPP used to beat them. Now look at the treatment being meted out to Afoko! Prior to this Aliu suffered humiliation. When it came to selecting Kufuor's successor, not a single southerner voted for him!

Bawumia's case is more pathetic. His is exhibiting what the psychologists would term an extreme form of inferiority complex whereby he thinks he must exaggerate his contribution in order to achieve acceptance by his southern counterparts. He is therefore prepared to lie to the high heavens. But does he think he will succeed Nana? Sadly NO!! It is when it comes to finding a successor to Nana that he will be told in plain language that he is a pepeni! For now Bawumia thinks the insult pepeni/ntani does not apply to him. If he could reason well he would have known that the insult hits him first before the ordinary northern man/woman.

Does Bawumia pretend he has never heard the insulting terms pepeni or Ntani? Or has he never heard that in Kumasi the kayayie are mockingly called "Mahama"?

Faking some Unity parade does not do the NPP Flagbearer and the Party any good. The exposed lies even make things worse for the Party and its Presidential Candidate.

It is a shame Akufo-Addo hasn't gotten the balls, the temperament for true reconciliation, and the moral fortitude to concede his faults to really pave the way for uniting the NPP for victory.

He has been floating on thin inflated ego, which could be easily deflated and cause him to crash like a bag of rotten potatoes.

His minions do not advise him well, or he is simply incurably arrogantly obstinate.
