President incompetent –in-chief, may I remind you that even the cost of branding inter-cities buses with your pictures was so over quantified that your sector minister has to resign on this issue. Again, have too soon forgotten the bloated cost of construction Kumasi Airport runway?
The fact is your administration is noted for cost augmentation, especially on construction projects. Therefore, there is no beef if questions are being raised on projects undertaken by your administration

He highlighted on the 200 SHS being built across the country, the universities built under NDC, the dumsor problem that has been fixed, growth in our GDP from 34 billion to 133 billion ghana cedis in 2015. 26% increment in educational institutions at all levels. massive investment in infrastructure development.

Besides, JDM in his address stated the benefits in both cost and safety with respect to how the projects being undertaken by his govt are impacting positively on the lives of people and businesses.

JDMs address certainly inspired Ghanaian's to pride, duty and sacrifice since we all know our taxes are being put to good use such as the matchless investments which have been made in the interest of Ghanaians such as the police visibility and accessibility program. In essence available statistics show that crime rate has dropped by over 5,000 between 2013 and 2014.

President Mahama care about his people and recognizes their problems and doing everything possible to make life comfortable for them. JDM has increased the salaries of all public sector workers salaries by 10% across board. He has also reduced utility tariffs by 10 to 15% and petroleum products by 2%.
President Mahama has also rolled out several social intervention programmes to support the youth in the country. The LEAP, YES, and youth in agriculture programmes are just a few examples of such interventions.

Hanson, lets even forget about what the NDC criticized the NPP for when they were in opposition. He Kwesi Pratt himself, criticized, lambasted and led demonstrations against virtually everything that the then NPP govt proposed. So one wonders whether the grey matter in Pratts cranium is/are kosher?

I mean if he doesnt feel any sense of shame disgracing himself like this in the public domain, doesnt he feel any humiliation as an opportunist in front of his wife and children?

Now to Baffuor who appears to be Pratts acolyte. It is true that the NPP and its antecedents have criticized by heart in the past and in the present. So has the (P)NDC, the CPP and I guess all other political parties against themselves. We must learn to give credit when credit is due and that is what the astute statesman (Pratt) did. Mahama is working in the interest of Ghanaians and no one can dispute that.

As a journalist he has seen the great improvement in the educational sector as educational institutions at all levels have increased from by 26% under the leadership of JDM. He is also aware that JDM has indeed fixed the power crisis by adding additional 800MW to the National grid. Talking about corruption, even the world has acknowledge Mahama's effort in fighting corruption and determined to ending it. The BBC Africa recently singled out Ghana and Senegal as countries progressively fighting corruption. The recent corruption perception index also indicated that Ghana is one of the least corrupt countries in Africa and the world.

The NDC by all standards upholds all the laws under the 1992 constitution of Ghana and if anybody is aggrieved or dissatisfied with the cost of any project, the first point of call should be to inquire from the ministry of finance, equally check the previous budget statements or urge the minority in Parliament to file a motion of recession to review any project.
I don't believe in equalization but it is only prudent that we ask how much of the tax payers money was embezzled by Hon. yaw osafo Marfo, then minister if education under the NPP who was embroiled in the dubious Mcmalian textbook printing saga?

Discerning Ghanaians know better and this is why we won't give the NPP the nod to wreck this country again.

Journalism is also supposed bring to the fore what government is doing in all the sectors of the economy and what needs to be done which is aimed at developing this country. Its not a crime for a journalist to say dumsor has improved significantly which is very true. its not a crime to say this government has invested so much in education more than any government when indeed statistics clearly attest to that fact the educational institutions at all levels have increased by 26% under the NDC administration. Journalist does not need to take bribe to report that roads are being constructed whilst those in deplorable states are being rehabilitated and asphalted.

It is most interesting that the people who are all here castigating Comrade Kwesi Pratt did not listen a bit to President John Mahama's State of the Nation Address.
Some people in my house said yesterday that the address was not inspiring. I asked if they have listen to it and the answer was negative. I told them that the address will be repeated after he evening new of GTV. When I wake-up this morning and ask if they listened to the repeat of the address the reply was then again negative.
The NHIS has not collapsed and from my experience, the health providers are the problem and not the solution, they must be proactive and submit their bills on time and also inflect cost.
Ghanaians must pay tax as is the case everywhere and those taxes will be used by he state to provide infrastructure and services. I pay 25% of my salary at source, meaning that it is deducted before my salary gets to me.
It looks like some Ghanaians want to tell us that when a woman wakes up in the morning and goes to the farm or market to sell goods, that woman is corrupt. Thus we believe that a President that build roads, hospitals and schools is corrupt.
Let us also know that all the schools under trees can not be build in a day that it will take time for them to be completed and at various times.
President John Dramani Mahama is doing is best and should be praised.
It is also a fact that the majority of secondary schools in Europe and U.S. are day schools which enable those countries to spent less on education.
It is people who make societies and all should be about the interest of people and not a few in society.
Is it not absurd to celebrate J.B. Danquah as a man of arts and sciences when he refused to work for same aspects of human endeavor and teamed up with the colonialist to subvert Ghana.
John Mahama is working for the people of Ghana and we must renew his mandate comes November, 2016.

That alone should rather tell you how committed the president is in the fight against corruption in the country. His administration has completed the 147 sawla -fufulso road, given jobs and employable skills to scores of people who are working on both the Kasoa and kwame Nkrumah interchange respectively which will all help ease traffic in our busy business districts.

Mr Pratt's assertions are in order, you can criticize him all you want but scores of people can attest to the progress that have been made under the JDM administration within the space of 4 years.

Therefore, there is nothing wrong with an objective journalist acknowledging unprecedented achievements of government in all sectors of the economy as its not contrary to the code of practice of his profession.

JDM in service to God and country has given topmost priority to all the 10 regions in country and this is evident in the prompt actions his administration took to fix the "dumsor' situation by adding 1025MW of power to the National Grid unlike previous administrations who only managed the situation.

JDM has offered Ghanaians a lot already in terms of being sensitive to their needs and in all humility he will institute more progressive initiatives to transform the lives of Ghanaians from now till his second tenure in office ends.

JDM highlighted on every sector and what his administration has done and doing. He indicated that henceforth all textbooks and other educational materials must be printed in the country and guess u know what that means? it will create a lot of job opportunities for people. about 95% of road contractors working on government's projects are local people (Ghanaians). He also announced that our dear country has overcome dumsor which is very true as additional 800MW has been added to the national grid.

On access to education in remote areas, somebody testified with respect to how the new community SHS is helping her realize her dreams. On 95% of road contractors being Ghanaians, some road contractors were in the gallery of parliament who affirmed what the president was saying by standing up. all other projects undertaken by the president since he assumed office have equally been published for Ghanaians to see which is unprecedented in the annals of Ghana's democracy.

We need to be true to the very best within us and do away with all forms of propaganda because
JDM by all standards in working in the interest of Ghanaians.

Thus it is only right that we pat him on the shoulder with respect to the strides he has made to retool our security agencies, end the shift system in our basic schools, convert somr of our polytechnics into technical universities all in the bid to meet the demands of the business climate among others.
Change is happening with JDM and nobody can discount that.

You can disagree with him on several issues but we must learn to criticize constructively.

In the same vein, he only expressed his opinion dispassionately and I believe nobody can discount the good works of the Mahama led administration such ad the expansion of the Takoradi ports, construction of the Elmina Fish processing factory , rehabilitation of the Komenda sugar factory, the kasoa and circle interchange among others.
The mahama govt just like successive govts must be given due credit ,thus Pratt did not err.
