  Nana Konadu and her husband crave for attention similar to the one they had had since June 4th 1979. Remember Rawlings had comfirmed some few weeks that he wanted to stay in power for next eight years, but for what Atta Mills did, refusing to be a one term president, something Rawlings wouldn't have accepted himself. Isn't it paradoxical for Rawlings to think Uncle Fiifi Atta Mills would further his criminal schemes by manipulating the constitution?
  
  Look Lawrence, Konadu knows nothing close to governance. She knows she has lost it. She doesn't have it. She misses the free petrol, free flights, the poses with the media cameras with a headgear she was noted for, and the free monies she gained access to, the bribes she collected many times from foreigners, the corruption brand she was used to, the free piloting lessons by children, etc. Ignore them!!!

  To say that the 18 yrs that President Rawlings ruled Ghana was wasted was a most unfortunate comment.
  
  He said “You couldn't utilise 19 years of political power as a First Lady to transform Ghana and positively change lives, what can you use four years of political power to achieve?” the APC wondered.
  
  To say that a govt has done poorly for the period that it was in power without analysis of what the situation was at the entry and exit levels is not wise and is considered bogus. What was the situation when the PNDC came to power and what did it leave behind at exit time?
  
  If you sincerely do that you will come to the conclusion that PNDC/NDC1 did better than all the govts from Dr Nkrumah's time to today. I know people will say that is not true but pause for a moment to compare Dr Nkrumah's time with President Rawlings' time.
  
  Nkrumah took over with a lot of foreign reserves and he utilized the money well. President Rawlings came when there was no money, Ghana was indebted to our ears, infrastructure was virtually non-existent. When he left power in 2000, even a blind man will acknowledge that there had been massive developments.
  
  Nana Konadu with her cry of train the girl-child resulted in today, the girls are doing far, far better than the boys. Who would have thought that Ghana will have had a female Speaker or Chief Justice?
  
  Before you comment, think carefully about what I have said. I leave you with this: Which two govt will you judge to have perform better; The one who had money to work with or the one who had to work without any money and also had to pay debts accrued from the first?
