Amissah-Arthur Ghana is not the only country that has pre-election survey.
If the surveys were going your way you will not complain.

In the recently held US of A elections there were various predictions, projections and forecasts from various entities like Quinipiac University to mention but a few. They predicted that whoever won certain swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania Wisconsin etc was bound to win the elections. In this vein no Vice President or President raised up a voice to advise against such predictions. Politics is by numbers and nobody blames anybody for declaring who they voting for. When a party loses popularity and the people's choices change there's the need to allow nature to take it's own course. At this juncture no amount of persuasions can turn back the winds of change being demanded. The people have tried one party for eight years and their life situations haven't changed so they want a change to try other avenues. There's no need to stop them else there's bound to be chaos. Mr Amissah eeeei just allow the people to predict, project, and forecast for its part of politics. Americans declared their final results and since then there has been peace. Just allow peace to prevail Mr Losing Vice please. Thank You

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Pre-election survey is "research" and free speech. It is much safer than Health Walk and violence.

It's good Amissah-Arthur is advising Mahama and NDC supporters at this time, because the kind of violence and desperation coming from John Mahama and his die-hard supporters, after the reality is becoming clear to him, is too much, it is too much.
As we have continually expressed, John Mahama is not the first nor would he be the last person to lose an election, scientific survey telling him he is going to win one touch, notwithstanding.
Because there is always a huge difference between the reality on the ground, and judging by the huge media blackout of the opposition, and the violence from NDC supporters, it is important and commendable Amissah-Arthur is advising NDC supporters about the true reality, and the need for Mahama and the few of his die-hard NDC supporters to shun the violence.
NPP has never said based on some polls projecting they will win, they have taken such predictions as fact and the gospel. Indeed, it has rather strengthened their resolve to work very, very, very hard and to remain more focused to try to achieve what the projections predict. That is why NPP has been working very, very hard getting it's message to the electorate pleading and begging Ghanaians to be afforded the opportunity to also contribute their quota to the development of Ghana, unlike John Mahama who says he deserves a second term, his infrastructure is unprecedented and does not see why he should go begging and pleading with the electorate to lead this country.
So those NDC supporters should listen to Amissah-Arthur and shun the violence because the scientific poll Mahama is relying on does not square with the reality on the ground and the reckless state of violence and desperation will not change the reality of his loss.
