Mr Aquinas Tawiah Quansah, the Former Central Regional Minister during President John Dramani Mahama's administration, has called for unity among National Democratic Congress (NDC) members and sympathizers in the Central Region.
He said the NDC lost the last elections basically as a result of disunity.
Mr Tawiah Quansah, who is aspiring for the Central Regional Chairman for NDC, said the region was once a stronghold for the party and when selected for the position, he will put in place measures to unite the party members.
He said this during a health walk organized by NDC Awutu Senya East constituency in Kasoa on Saturday morning.
Mr Ofosu Agyere, the NDC Constituency Chairman, assured the party members that with the strategies they are putting in place, it would be easy for the party to win the parliamentary seat in Awutu Senya East Constituency.
