Organisers of the Ghana Tertiary Awards 2014 have revealed the full list of nominees vying for honours on 10th January 2015 at the La Palm Beach Hotel.

Organisers of the award scheme, Youth Web Entertainment hope by rewarding folks who have impacted society, it will serve as a morale booster as well as serve as a catalyst of inspiration for others to get on board.


The nominees include young media man‘Monte Oz’ of MMTV, a Crystal TV prime channel,together with Jason EL-Agha & Regina, hosts of Rhythmz Live on GHONE lead the nominations. Ghanaian Comic YouTube stars, Kalybos & Ahoufe Patri also feature in the nominations so does dancehall empress Mzvee.


At a press conference to disclose the nominees, comedian David Oscar part of the academy of the Ghana Tertiary Awards explained it was difficult to come by the present list as acquiring accurate data was a challenge.


The top most award of GTA 2014 is the ‘Most Influential Student of the Year’. The nominees for this category were selected based on multiple nominations attained. The winner of the Most Influential Student of the Year award is also tied to the winner of the‘School of the Year’award.
