DJ Vyrusky beat DJ Black to win the overall best DJ of the year awards in 2017
Starr FM turntablist and reigning DJ Of The Year Vyrusky is widely touted as the most hardworking among his peers. From frequently releasing infectious music to playing at the most high-profile stages all across the country, he has managed to maintain his place among the Ghana’s first rank of disk jockeys.
This is further proven by the fact that he has remained official deck handler for Ghana’s biggest act Shatta Wale for the past couple of years.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Vyrusky has had a significantly busy 2017, sweeping multiple awards and rousing crowds at such top events as Rapperholic, the S Concert, Ghana Meets Naija, Tidal Rave, The Wave Concert, among others.
DJ Vyrusky (born Kofi Amoako) has, since getting into the industry, excelled on career defining stages as Ghana Meets Naija Concert, the Hennessey Artistry Concert, Tidal Rave, and at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. A Masters Degree holder, he has also been adjudged among other things, Best Events DJ and Best Club DJ of the Year at the prestigious Ghana DJ Awards. He’s also head of Nitro Live, a subsidiary of Echo House Ghana Limited.
