2024 December election is a test of your sanity! - Bridget Otoo tells Ghanaians

Ghanaian media personality and political pundit Bridget Otoo has challenged Ghanaians to ‘prove their sanity’ in the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

This comes in reaction to a promise by the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to lower Ghana's energy costs by shifting from fuel-based to solar power.

This, according to him, will help reduce the high costs of electricity in the country.

However, in reaction to his promise in a post on X, Bridget Otoo, who has been a staunch critic of the ruling government, labelled the upcoming 2024 elections a ‘test of sanity’ and urged Ghanaians to think critically and sensibly about the claims and vote wisely.

“This election is a test of your sanity! Prove to this man you are sensible,” she posted.

These promises come as the country gears up for the 2024 general elections set for December 7, 2024.

NDC flagbearer and former President John Dramani Mahama will be competing against Vice-President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, New Force Movement leader Nana Kwame Bediako, and Movement for Change leader Alan Kyerematen.
