2024 Praise Achievement Awards: Nacee, Joe Mettle and others win big

Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, and producer Nana Osei, popularly known as Nacee, emerged as the biggest winner at the Praise Achievement Awards 2024.

The third edition of the prestigious event, held on November 24 at the Perez Dome in Accra, celebrated the achievements of gospel musicians and the industry professionals who have excelled over the past year.

The well-attended ceremony saw numerous gospel artistes, including Nacee, MOG, and Perez Musik, gracing the venue with their presence.

Nacee took home five major awards, including Most Engaged Song of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Artiste of the Year, and the coveted Artiste of the Year.

A visibly excited Nacee dedicated his success to God and expressed deep gratitude to his team for their unwavering support.

He also acknowledged the other gospel acts in his categories, emphasising that they were all winners, regardless of who took home the award.

Other notable winners included Piesie Esther, who won Female Artiste of the Year, while Scott Evans walked away with Urban Gospel Artiste of the Year.

Queendalyn Yurglee was awarded New Artiste of the Year, and Piesie Esther also took home the Best Music Video of the Year for her hit song "Mo."

In the vocal categories, Lordina the Soprano was named Female Vocalist of the Year, while Siisi Baidoo claimed Male Vocalist of the Year.

The Praise Achievement Awards 2024 highlighted the vibrant and diverse talent within Ghana's gospel music scene, fostering growth and excellence in the genre.
