Always aim at the moon and in case you are dropping you fall among the stars. The current highest selling musician in Ghana, Ofori Amponsah after rising through the storms of life is yet to perform wonders in his music career.
The songster released another instant hit “ODWO” onto the music market, few weeks ago. The album blazing everywhere on the airwaves nationwide has been a threat to other musicians. Since sales from all music outlets indicate that after the release of “ODWO” almost everybody who walks in request for Ofori Amponsah.
The 12 tracked album has all (12) twelve songs very challenging to choose from. There are some speculations around that the payola being paid on the album to presenters were huge but trust me, one can hardly select a bad track on the album.
Also he strongly showed great maturity and proved to everybody that a good track does not come from the sound engineer but rather from the lyrics. This time he changed from the “Appietus in the mix” trend but yet he was able to produce a good work.
Information reaching Weekly Fylla indicates that come this December 24th this year, Ofori Amponsah will be staging a live concert at the National Theatre for his cherished fans.
It is also believed that the program is being put together by Multiple Concept (Charter House). Earlier on, Weekly Fylla in an interview with the management of Ofori Amponsah about his live stage performance, they disclosed that a lot has been done on his stagecraft and his first live appearance on any stage will be an explosion.
The question bothering everybody now is; is the Maestro Kojo Antwi going to postpone his date or cancel his show or is he also going to book the Accra International Conference Centre for his annual concert?
