YFM has partnered once again with Planet One Multimedia to storm Accra with the ‘Roll Kall’ students’ carnival. The 2012 event, which marks the 2nd edition, will take place on August 25 at the Aviation Social Center from 10am. Tickets are currently available for GHC 7.00 at Community 11 Shell, Tema; Fridays, Sakumuno; and Mr. Biggs in Dansoman.

The event will feature a kaleidoscope of games and competitions such as five aside soccer, basketball, rap, jama, dance, and tug of peace. These will be interspersed with musical performances by some of the hottest hip-life stars including Asaase Aban, Jupiter, Keche, Stoneboy, D2, and Lousika. Kwasi Atta of ‘Laugh a Minute Fame’ will also be on hand to dish out laughs. There will also be a sale and exhibition section featuring several vendors, specially assembled for the benefit of students.

Through this partnership, YFM and Planet One Multimedia will bring together senior high students from Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, Central, Western and Ashanti regions in a relaxed, non-academic atmosphere. The objective is to promote healthy competition and camaraderie among this category of youth, while they de-stress and bond after a long academic year. This is in keeping with both YFM and Planet One Multimedia’s shared resolve to cater to the interests of young people.

Confirming a deep commitment to an even more fantastic event this year, Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong aka Mr. Nokus, Station Manager of YFM stressed, “‘Roll Kall’ is designed to underscore our commitment to the welfare of the youth. We aim to leverage such forums to teach the youth the importance of togetherness, ultimately for the good of Ghana. Our experience last year surpassed any of our expectations; and this year promises to be even bigger with the inclusion of a wider network of schools and exhibitors. We can't wait to get back to Aviation Social Center”.

‘Roll Kall’ was first held in 2011 at the Aviation Social Center in Accra. The inaugural show attracted thousands of students from several regions who benefitted immensely from the networking and sales opportunities availed to them. It is a joint initiative by YFM and Planet One Media.
