450 musicians made it to MTN Hitmaker season 7 next stage

Ghana’s largest telecommunication network MTN auditioned 450 underground musicians out of over 3000 who applied for the 2018 edition of the biggest talent hunt HITMAKER season 7.

The audition which was held at the National Film and Television Institute premises engaged experienced and key industry players like Richie of Lynx Entertainment, Magnom and Masta Garzy as judges entrusted to select the best out of the lot for the main contest to begin.

So far, the judges have been able to scout for eighty Musicians out of the four-hundred and fifty.

Speaking in an interview with the producer of the 'Hitmaker' ,Nii Ayitey Hammond, he told Attractivemustapha.com that the number will further be reduced to twenty who will be kept at the Bootcamp where they will receive professional grooming by a technical team made up of voice coaches, choreographers, music directors, image stylists and many more.

He added that the turnout was very impressive with very talented artistes who will fit into the competition.



MTN Hitmaker has been running consistently since its inception in 2012. The show has produced some of the industry’s top-notch musicians including Koo Ntakra, Togbe, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Kurl Songx and Freda Rhyme.
