5 Questions for Ama Boahemaa

Reports have emerged that gospel musician Ama Boahemaa of “Awurade Bue kwan Ma Me” fame has threatened to sue folks who contend she has bleached her skin as well as take on the person who captured photos of her whiles she granted an interview to Germany-based journalist, Francis Frimpong-Manson aka Nkosuohene.

Here are a few questions for Ama to chew on:

Are Ghanaians who noted the recent photos not privy to the tone of Ama’s skin as evident by videos she shot for her gospel songs such that even a baby can notice a marked difference?

Did Ama not concede in the said interview that she used a variety of creams which caused rashes to develop on her skin till she was introduced to the current cream she uses which not only erased the spots but also gave her the fair complexion?

Did Ama not allude to the fact that she believes the European weather had an influence in her developing a fair complexion whereupon Nkosuohene enquired why he was not fair since they experience similar weather?

Did Ama not also allude to the fact that her love for milk had a hand in her recent complexion?

Is Ama denying that photos circulating online involving her and Nkosuohene were taken with her knowledge but only regretted it when folks online reacted negatively?

The advice to Ama is that she bears her body and can maintain it the best way she deems fit even as a gospel musician but when people express surprise with the marked difference in her appearance she better stick to her gun or adopt other ways rather than crying wolf. Even a blind man can see that she’s done some touch ups here and there.
