Fights occur from time to time among Ghanaian celebrities in the entertainment industry.

While many of these fights are overt and confirmed by the celebrities involved, others are in the form of cold wars.

YEN, today, brings you some major Ghanaian celebrity feuds that rocked our country in the last few years.

1. Samini versus Shatta Wale

The beef between the two men mainly revolved around who was entitled to be referred to as the "Dancehall King" in Ghana.

Both singers went for each other's jugular in several diss songs they exchanged.

2. Yvonne Nelson versus John Dumelo

The two best friends fell out in 2015 over Dumelo's continued support for President John Mahama, despite the power crisis at the time.

A fan had asked Yvonne why Dumelo was not invited to participate in the #DumsorMustStop vigil she was organising and she responded:

“…how can I invite John Dumelo when he wants to wait till he is 90 years to see electricity. He loves to kiss a**.”

That appeared to mark the end of their much-vaunted friendship. But after over a year of beefing, Yvonne and Dumelo have reconciled and are back to being best friends.

3. Delay versus Afia Schwarzenegger

Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay) gave Valentina Agyeiwaa (Afia Schwarzenegger) her first major break in the Tv series Afia Schwarzenegger.

The two soon fell out, with Afia accusing delay of turning her into a house girl while she worked with her (Delay).

4. Yvonne Nelson versus Sandra Ankobiah

They beef between the two is more of a cold war. They used to attend social events together and share pictures of each other on social media. But all that stopped suddenly.

It is not clear what ruptured the relationship between them.

5. Leila Djansi versus Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu

The two worked together to produce the movie I Sing of a Well but soon fell out over who owned the movie.

Akorfa said in an interview that she did not make any profit from producing the movie and so did not see herself working with Leila in the future. Leila accused her of lying and threatened to sue her for defamation.

6. Agya Koo versus Kwaku Manu

Agya Koo is said to have introduced Kwaku Manu settle to Kumawood. Reports say as Manu's popularity soared, however, Agya Koo felt threatened, causing their friendship to strain.

They are said to have fallen out with each other when Manu refused to allow Agya Koo to manage him. They have since reconciled.

7. Shatta Wale versus Stonebwoy

The two beefed over the right to be called the best dancehall star in Ghana. They recently reconciled, however, and even performed on stage together.
