As the debate as to whether District Chief Executives (DCEs) should be elected or appointed continues, sources indicate that a great number of DCE?s will get the axe.
According to sources within the High Office of the President, about 80 DCE?s will lose their job for their actions and inactions that nearly cost the NPP a second term.
Sources hinted that the list will consist of new faces who will constitute the new team which will spearhead the President?s new three pronged approach policy.
Among the casualties will include those who failed to release their MPs Common Fund on time and also those who openly campaigned against the NPP. Another group of DCEs who will be affected include those DCEs who secretly connived with opposition members to dislodge the current government.
