Some big shots in the entertainment Industry have tasted the wrath of the law after they were arrested for trying to smuggle pellets of cocaine outside the country.

According to rumors circulating on the internet, controversial musician and comedian A-Plus, have allegedly been arrested in New York for possessing illegal drugs suspected to be cocaine.

If the above is anything to go by, then all is not well with the country’s Entertainment Industry as the arrest could be a serious indictment on professionals in the industry and to the country’s immigration.

Word going round on facebook reads “Another musician arrested for drugs in America...This is an embarrassment to the entertainment industry”.

Information from sources indicates that the musician was picked up by New York police in a Bronx Hotel. Several calls placed to his phones didn’t go through as the phones were switched off.

When Dada Halfco was contacted, a member of the rap duo Mframa, a close confidant of A-Plus, he said he is aware of the rumor but yet to ascertain its truthfulness.

He said that, A-Plus left the country on Friday but has since not called or contacted him in anyway which is a bit worrying to him. He went on to say that they are doing everything possible to contact A-Plus himself or family and friends for information about his where about.

Meanwhile a close friend to the musician (name withheld) has informed us that they are very much aware of his where about and it’s a very worrying and unfortunate situation.

A-Plus is well noted for his use of music to criticize politically incorrect systems and happenings in Ghana. He is well respected for his distinctive and unique brand as a voice for the voiceless in both political and social aspects.**
